The Rose <3

The Rose

Look at this beautiful flower,

This rose,

This lonely, isolated, flower,

Looking for love.

The rose petals open.

The flower is blooming.

You would never believe what she has gone through.

Her thorns make her rough,

Hard.

And her stem is firm.

But her petals are soft.

They are warm,

They produce the warmest of fluids,

And hide the deepest inner beauty.

When she blooms,

It’s beautiful,

And when the heavens cry,

She sympathizes,

And turns those tears into beauty and love.



Life has not been easy

For her though.

People have plucked at her petals.

The heaves sometimes dried up.

Causing her to wilt,

And feel sorrow.

And on occasion, her thorns have been unable to protect her from the hurt,

And the pain she had to suffer,

But still she goes on and becomes stronger.

Because she is a survivor,

And she cannot give up,

That is not in her.

She just works harder.

And seeps up the murky water.

And let’s out the clean, cool oxygen.

Because she is a rose,

And she destined to prosper.
