There are things that some people don't understand. They replace the obvious answers with excuses. Someone can see dead people; shizophrenia. Someone can move stuff with their minds when their emotions run wild; anger problems. There are kids out there that can do these thing but are written off as insane. A few have been sent to a group rehabilitation home called 'Lyle House'. But things at Lyle house are definitely not what they seem...

I honestly don't know what happened. Yes, I was upset, but I wasn't expecting anyone to get hurt. It just happened. They caught on fire the minute I touched them, I had no control over it.

I have no idea how, but i know what I saw. And, no, it wasn't a trick of the light or a shadow. It was a real live dead person, and I'll be damned if I believe anything else.

Miri sat quietly in her room, staring at her wall quietly in thought. Her eyes were red and puffy from crying and her hair a mess.

Jace sat in his room twiddling his thumbs in boredom. He's only recently gotten here, he had no idea what was going on yet?

Ash had been at Lyle House for two years. He'd always made a show of completely denying there was anything wrong with him. They said he was just stubborn and angry. A normal teenager. He'd replied to this with an extremely colorful string of curses.

Azlinn sat in the living room, watching 'The Land Before Time.' That was all they had for DVD's at Lyle House. Anything above 'G' rating was Jurassic Park, and even that said, "Consult nurse before watching." She rolled her eyes.

Miri ran a hand through her curls and fixed her hair before heading out to collapse onto the couch in the living room next to Azlinn. She yawned softly. "This? Again?"

Jace was normal. And he was damn set in convincing himself and every one else of that fact too. He yawned quietly and and layed back staring at the ceiling.

"Yeah. It was most likely that or 'Strawberry Shortcake!'," Ash said as he walked into the living room with his DS. He smiled bitterly.

Azlinn rolled her eyes. "As always, right on the spot."

Miri sighed and sat back, looking at the screen blankly. She glanced over at Ash. "I can so totally tell how much you want to let me play that." she teased.

Jace finally walked out and sat in the living room with them.

Azlinn stretched out on the couch. "I just wish they'd let me have my guitar. I wouldn't be so flipping bored."

Ash shrugged and tossed it to Miri. "Knock yourself out. Just know you're dead if you break it."

Jace watched them. "Is this seriously all ya'll do around here?"

Miri nodded and flipped it open, pulling her feet up onto the couch and making her self content to play video games all day.

Azlinn glared at Jace. "What else are we supposed to do? The nurses don't let us outside."

Ash rolled his eyes and went to go raid the kitchen for a snack.

"Well, If you get horribly bored you can always play chutes and ladders, haha jk. Two kids got in a fight over it last week so they took that away too." She said, not even looking up from her game.

Jace nodded with a shrug. "Oh, come on. There has to be someway we can stir up some trouble around here."

"Don't even try it. If you do, the nurses transfer you. The kids who get transferred are never seen again." Azlinn said, eyes on the TV.

Ash groaned. Nothing but healthy crap.

Jace wanted to laugh but the girls tone was dead serious. "Allrighty then." He mumbled, and watched tv.

Miri cursed as she dies again and the little thing popped up on screen to dance and taunt her, she set down the game and watched TV with them.

OOC: Kingdom Hearts: Beast. The heartless? Pain in the butt! lol

IC: Azlinn hummed something under her breath as she watched the movie, desperately wishing for her guitar.

Ash walked back in. "I hate this place. They don't have any junk food..."

Miri nodded. "I know what you mean, I haven't had a decent burger in over a damn year." She complained.

Jace sighed. "Nothing?" He asked.

Azlinn's fingers twitched and she scowled. No guitar. Stop. Moving. No. Strings! She told her hands. "Blah. Want. Guitar."

Ash shrugged. "Guess the glorified security nannies don't want us to grow up like normal carb-filled teens."

JAce glanced at Azlinn. "You okay?" He asked sincerely.

Miri sighed and layed back after handing Ash his DS.

[Fennec]

Azlinn looked over. "Yeah." She laughed. "I would kill for a guitar right now. I didin't tell anyone, but I do play. I'm in a band. Or... I was."

Ash stuffed his DS in his pocket and sat on the couch next to Azlinn's feet.
