Azalia closed her eyes, exhausted. She tried to go to sleep, but couldn't. Too many thoughts filled her mind.

Davis sighed. "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize what you had been going through." He half smiled.

Mark went back inside after the started to set and got his swords ready just in case they attacked tonight.

Mira looked at him and snorted.

M:"If I didn't know any better I'd say you actually meant what you just said."

Azalia sat up. Most of the saves were returning by then, all tired. Some had black eyes and burn marks. Some were branded. She closed her eyes, really trying to go to sleep now.

Davis chuckled. "Maybe, but I'm still not unchaining you."

Hearing nothing so far Mark closed his eyes and listened and waited.

Mira smirked.

M:"Thought so. So why are you down here talking to a total annoying bitch like me? Hm"

Davis shrugged. "I have nothing better to do, and you entertain me."

Mark got ready sensing they were about to attack.

Mira smirked.

M:"Well that's nice to know I enter.....ugh."

Mira was in pain now not knowing what to do. Her eyes turn glassy and she looked at the ceiling.

Mark fought the beasts off in droves. Slashing them to pieces. Covered in blood and ten only remaining now out of the twenty that came.

M:"Come on you monsters."

Mark then charged hacking them to pieces. Once done he looked up at the sky and listened again.

Mira watched as the yoki attacked a man who killed them all. She saw the blood flying everywhere. Once the attack was over it changed to where the yoki defeated other towns and were now heading in this direction. Once it was over her head hit her chest and she looked around with semi-glazed eyes. She saw the guy from earlier and looked him in the eyes.

M:"Your all in danger."

Davis looked at her confused. "Danger? I don't think so. We had the best defenses and security and well as the best warriors and army.

She looked him in the eyes nothing but serious.

M:"You think this is a joke. Have you ever fought a one of the yoki's before or a lynpathera. Well have you?"

Davis rolled his eyes. "Okay, but have you ever seen a yoki or a lynpathera? No, you haven't because they're myths."

M:"I'll show what I truly am if you promise not to attack me."

Mira smirked.

M:"Oh I will."

She then closed her eyes and her body began to glow in a golden light. Her hair was now silver with red highlights. Clothes formed and showed her in elegant armor that had two swords strapped to her back. She had white wings and she grew a tail. Her fingernail became claws and she grew fangs. Mire opened her eyes that were now shifting different colors with slits and her ears became pointy like an elf's. She moved her wrist and the chains broke. Her feet hit the floor and she looked at Davis.

M:"Do you believe me now. I Davis am a protector. We are called cathalians. I and others like me protect the balance of the worlds."

She looked him in the eye hers now red.

M:"Are you afraid?"

M:"Your scarred. Don't worry I don't eat humans. I eat something else that I'm sure would disgust you."

She then took a step forward Her head to the side as if listening to something.

She then walked forward and stood beside him.

M:"While it is true that all the things I said happened. The getting caught by slave traders was planned. Because I needed a ride here to intercept the army of yoki and lytho's before they get to the prince or the royal blood line. Throughout the world there are other cathalians are out there in every household protecting their blood."

She turned to him.

M:"Your blood."

She then continued to walk forward and left the cell and was in the hall of the dungeons.
