Teutonic Prussia has Lost His Gilbird! (APH)

Gilbert has lost Gilbird! Being the awesome knight he is though, he is determined to find him. So, he has gone off into the forest to search for his bird, sword strapped to his side, but chainmail unnecessary.

As a diligent knight protecting his homeland against the (insane) crusaders, Toris Lorinaitis immediately begins to seek out the intruder in his forest, senses alerting him to the Prussian's presence.

[PreussensGloria]

"Gilbird!" the little knight calls out into the forest, not noticing nor really caring that he has stumbled into Lithuania's territory, "Gilbird!"

His search is made easier by the frantic calling and Toris draws his sword, wearing full platemail-- though none of it strains on his body terribly, given the strength of a nation behind it.

"Prusija, what are you doing here?" The hostility in his voice is unmistakeable.

Gilbert turns to face Toris with an "Oh, it's you" expression, not in the least alarmed by the fact that, you know, he's wearing a full suit of armor and all.

"Gilbird got lost." he states as if its the most obvious thing in the world.

Toris glares levelly, "And that gives you permission to tresspass, how?" He approaches Prussia, sword drawn and pointed dangerously in his direction.

[PreussensGloria]

He draws his sword as well because like hell is he going to let a pagan attack him.
"I'm not trying to trespass," he says, "I'm just trying to find Gilbird. Have you seen him?"

Toris sighs, "No, I haven't," He replies irritably, "And I would appreciate you stay out of here, before I'm forced to remove you myself." That's clearly a threat, and naturally so given how hostile Prussia is towards people of Lithuania's belief.

Gilbert quirks an eyebrow, "Because you can!" Though, really, its an empty threat. He knows better than to get into a battle with someone in full plate armor when he himself is only in his tunic and cloak.
"I didn't come here to convert you or anything, stupid pagan - though you really should convert. I just want to find Gilbird." he explains again, for he is a small child who has lost his dearest pet bird.

Toris scowls, "Have I not made myself clear? Your bird isn't here." He steps forward suddenly, swinging his sword towards Prussia's shoulder, "And you are not welcome here!"

[PreussensGloria]

Gilbert sees it coming and blocks the blade with his sword, putting enough pressure on Toris' blade to push it away.
"Okay, okay! I got it!" he yells.

"Then what are you still doing here?" He doesn't make to strike again- that would be rude- but watches Prussia's movements carefully.

[PreussensGloria]

"You attacked me with a sword, stupid pagan." He slowly sheaths his sword, watching Toris carefully since he doesn't exactly want to bloody up his cloak on top of having lost Gilbird, "Since you don't want to help me, I'm going to go find Gilbird somewhere else."

[LietuvaHetalia]

"As long as that's outside my country, I don't care." He sheaths his own sword only after he sees Prussia do the same. "What's so important about a bird, anyway?"

[PreussensGloria]

He was about to just leave but he turns around at the question, "He's not just a bird! He's Gilbird!"

[LietuvaHetalia]

"...So if you give a name to it, suddenly you have to run through the forest searching? What type of bird?" Come to think of it, he actually doesn't know what type of bird Prussia's talking about- he brushed off having seen it to get Gilbert to go away.

[PreussensGloria]

"No! Gilbird is important! I've had him forever," he stresses, "He's a little fluffy yellow bird who's awesome just like me." He doesn't exactly know what he'll do if he can't find Gilbird, but he doesn't want to think about that. Hopefully, Lithuania has seen him; otherwise, he'll have to check everyone else's houses too.

"...Fluffy and yellow?" Shit, he may have actually seen that sort of thing on his way here. But it would be stupid to just tell Prussia... Right?

[PreussensGloria]

"Yup," Gilbert answers quickly, "Wait, have you seen him?" He looks rather distraught over the issue, even though he's doing his best to hide it.

[LietuvaHetalia]

"..." On one hand, Toris would very much like to say no, and return to cage the bird as a trophy. On the other hand, that would be A) Against his religion, B) Mean, and C) Morally Wrong. The pagan nation sighs, meeting Prussia's eyes again.

"...Yeah, I've seen it. I can take you to where I last saw it, but you're not allowed to go running around my territory on your own."

[PreussensGloria]

Gilbert's expression, previously a bit depressed, brightens instantly, "You've seen him?! Let's go!"

[LietuvaHetalia]

"Fine, but I'll lead you there on one condition- you have to give me your sword, until we reach the spot." He obviously doesn't trust Prussia in the slightest, and perhaps even expects Gilbert to stab him in the back.

[PreussensGloria]

Gilbert's excitement disappears.
"My sword?" He says in surprise. It's the sword his first Grand Master, Heinrich Walpot von Bassenheim, gave him. He's attached to it and he doesn't like giving up his weapon like this. He doesn't even know if Toris is telling the truth or will even give it back.
