Ok so I had a lot of trouble because technically at the moment she is not my girlfriend at all. But we have been seeing each other every day. With a little luck and patience we will be back together.

It is a very complicated relationship. We are very different people who lived very different lives before we met. How we see relationships is almost completely different. We are so unalike that the only force in the universe strong enough to bring us together is love. Without that we would have come to loath each other.

We have the deepest strongest bond you can possibly imagine... and lives that do not fit at all. At all. We spent 10 months doing things my way and then I made a huge fucking mistake. It lead me to hurt her deeply via harsh drunk words on skype. So we broke up and lost all the different layers of our relationship that we had built.

Now we will try it her way. Open. She is free to do whatever she wishes online. Play any sort of game with anyone. The problem is... I cannot stand the thought of any save one other man even touching her.

I am trying to learn to not care about what she does when she is not with me. Telling myself she sees everything else as just games and they don't matter. And that is true for her. She can go into a chat room and do anything at all and to her it was just a game.

I live half my life online and to me this is real. A new kind of real yes. Not the same as normal life yes. But if in a chat room or IMs I reach out for you to kiss you and you reach back because you want to... that counts. That has some meaning to it. Enough that I can enjoy my online life quite a bit. A cyberkiss is akin to a kiss. Not the same no. But akin. And when you are talking about something as powerful as a kiss even akin is something special.

But I love her and I want her in my life. So I am trying. She says she can keep her lives separate that her other life, her other guys, won't cause the time we have to suffer. I hope she is right.

Aw,thats so sweet.And my only comment that I choose to share because this is less offensive-An open relationship means that she can do WHATEVER and you'll have to be fine with it.Are you sure you want that?

We have not discussed what sort of relationship we may have in the future, For the moment we are playmates. It may be that we will be free to play games but not form other relationships or get too serious about other playmates.

For 10 months she tried to be what I wished her to be. Now I am going to try to be what she wishes me to be. No idea what will happen.

I just think... you shouldn't have to change for her. Love is about accepting who the other person is, and ignoring the flaws and loving the good in someone else. If she wants you to change, then she doesn't love you. She loves what she wants you to be.

The nice way of my opinions would basically be what Lizzi had to say because i absolutely agree with her.Why should you have to change for a girl and why she for you?you both want something completely than the other.

We both lived completely opposite lives before we met each other. Neither of ever dreamed we would connect to someone like each other. We are both strong forceful people who are very, very used to getting our own way.

There is no real middle ground between our prefered lifestyles. No logical way we can be together.

And yet that is what we both want. Very much.

If you can make that work out,great.I'm happy you found someone you love but just keep in mind if she does something you really don't want heq to do talk it out with her calmly and maybe she will see your side of the story and might stop it.Just because you agreed doesn't mean you honestly want it.There must be a middle between you two,there usually always is.

I agree there usually is. And in a way we have found one.

We will both have separate online lives and still spend the same time together. Live in a bubble. Oddly in the real world we are just fine. Well at least in theory we were. But in the wilder online world it gets a little more complex when a very possessive American guy falls for a very open-minded and free spirit of an Irish girl.

I reread this a couple of times and tried to make sense of me but either way,it sounded crazy to me but hey,I'm not y'all.And hopefully it works...But...I don't see how you can be good in one thing and so...Not in another thing.
I didn't want to call it lives because technically it is all one life but,yeah,different.
