Love Is Like a Flower

Love is like a flower

that buds only in the spring,

and you enjoy all of it's beauty,

and the happiness it brings.

But when winter comes,

the flower will wilt and die,

and you cannot get it back,

no matter how hard you try,

Will spring ever return?

You scream in despair

it just doesn't seem feel right,

life doesn't seem fair.

The answer is yes,

and though the pain will come,

if you are strong you will survive

to see the warmth of the sun.
