"You would be a much better alpha though.You don't rush to judgments.Or at least it doesn't seem it."Kalona said quietly as she looked down at the ground.

"Don't mean to change the subject,but are we just going to stay here all day?"Alex asked the two.

Safara chuckled and shook her head, leading them up the rocks to the cave the pride slept in.

"He's impatient.Sorry."Kalona told Safara before glaring back at her brother.

"I am.And it's just who I am."Alex said rolling his eyes.

"This is our sleeping area....And we hunt at 9am.....Kalona...You will be required to hunt with us." She smiled. "Shall I leave you to get settled in and have a rest?"

"Oh good."Kalona said grinning."It is up to you,I don't mind either way."She told her shaking her head.

"You can if you want to though."Alex told her laying down onto the ground.

Safara smiled. "If you don't mind....Would you tell me more about yourselves?"

"And where you came from? And what happened to your last pride?" Damien asked, walking into the cave behind them.

"Oh good.He's back."Kalona said under her breath with a sigh."We didn't exactly have a pride per-say.Our mother was,um,killed."She said quietly."And then our dad passed away of illness,so we were living on our own.Then we decided to come here."

Alex glared at Damien and shook his head."And any other questions you would like to ask?Or an interrogation?"

Damien frowned and climbed up onto the highest rock and laid down.

"Hmm....Where abouts did you come from?" Safara asked softly.

"It was mainly in the middle of nowhere.It wasn't close near here.So..."Kalona said trailing off.

Alex glanced at Kalona and nodded in agreement,not paying much attention to the conversation.

Safara smiled. "Lionesses are back with dinner." She said softly, standing up and roaring loudly.

Damien yawned and stood up, joining in with the roar.

Kalona looked at them she was so worried she'd do something wrong.So she ended up giving them a confused look.

Alex gave them a blank expression,not knowing if they were supposed to join in or not.

Damien growled and got down from where he was sitting, pulling a huge chunk out of one of the carcasses the lionesses had brought back.

Safara nodded her head at Alex. "You may be a guest but your still male...Your turn."

Alex glanced at Kalona and then at Safara frowning.He walked over to the carcasses,it was very strange for him to be doing it this way,though it usually was just Kalona and him.Alex took a reasonable chunk out of one of the carcasses.

Kalona watched the two and sat down in silence as she looked away for a minute and then returned her gaze.

Safara smiled and nudged Kalona forward with herself. "You'll get used to working in this way...Don't worry." She said softly.

Damien rolled his eyes and continued to eat.

"I will.I mean,there's others now.But it's not that different,because we only needed one or two.Since there was only two of us."Kalona said sighing softly.

Alex looked at the other three and started eating slowly.

Damien sighed and looked out of the horizon. "Well...I suppose it'll be fine to have another male to speak to around here..." He chuckled, looking over at Alex. "It's normally just me and sixteen lionesses."

Safara rolled her eyes and continued to eat.

"It will be nice,not to just have to talk to my sister."Alex said slowly and cautiously."And I would hate to be surrounded by girls..Who talk about girl stuff."He mumbled shaking his head.

"I'm not so bad Alex."Kalona snapped as she took a small bite.

Damien chuckled. "Yup..At least they hunt....And do everything for me...Like keep the cave clean....That's a plus."

Safara sighed. "We're not all your little housewifes, brother!" She muttered angrily.

Alex looked at Damien and laughed softly."Looks like some lionesses are mad at you now."He mumbled.

Damien groaned. "Well....C'MON! I'm an only guy in a house full of women AND I'm king! Of course they're little housewifes to me!" He complained.

Safara rolled her eyes and stood up, stretching.

"And like I'm going to act like one now that I know this.I'd rather not be in the pride then be treated like a stupid house wife."Kalona grumbled as she rolled her eyes.

"And you should just give up,I'm serious.She can keep this up...Forever."Alex said shaking his head.
