Miri smirked and pushed him gently as she passed. "Make yourself useful." She said and went to help Azlinn.

Jace smirked and locked up the safe behind the bar after the last customers stumbled out. He threw his half-apron on the hook and glanced at the others. "Ready?"

Azlinn looked up and smiled. "Yup."

Ash shrugged and gave a grunt, which most likely meant 'yes'.

Miri nodded and hung her apron up as well, pushing Ash again, this time almost making him fall. She giggled and waited by the door for them all.

Jace nodded and headed for the door, waiting for the others.

Ash hid a grin as he walked over. "Come on let's go..." He was hiding something...

Miri hesitated watching Ash, she knew him well enough to know he was all too obviously up to something. She raised an eyebrow but walked out with him.

Jace walked by Azlinns side quietly, watching her.

"Unless there's a huge booger hanging out my nose, I think you should tell me why you're staring at me, darling," she said without even looking over at Jace. She only called Jace 'darling' though.

Ash shouted as he tackled Miri to the ground, laughing like an idiot. "You aren't going to win this time!"

Jace laughed a little and shook his head.
"Nah, you're good." He said softly.

Miri shrieked when he tackled her in surprise and fell to the ground laughing. "Wanna bet?"

She looked over. "Then why are you staring? Find me... distracting?" She smiled impishly, and struck and overly provocative pose. She laughed.

Ash's hands came down on either side of Miri, forming a sort of human cage. He smiled. "I bet all the money in my pockets that you won't win this time."

Miri shook her head. "That's not much." She teased, "You're gunna have to bet more to make this a fair fight."

Jace laughed a little harder and nodded. "Sure, if thats the answer you're looking for."

Ash shrugged. "Fine don't take the chance to win the five cents in my pocket." He grinned. "How about... a kiss?"

Azlinn shook her head. "It's not. I'm just wondering why you're staring."

Ash grinned. "I'm winning so far. Can you do better?"

Miri shrugged. "Oh, I don't know, we'll have to see." She grinned and something flashed in her eyes and she easily had him pinned to the ground, one hand on each of his wrists using only enough pressure to hold him down but not to hurt him. "Can YOU do better?"

Jace shrugged. "You look nice today." She said simply.

Ash squinted, looking freaked. "Uhm, no.... No I can't..."

Miri let him up and sat back, leaning against the cold cement of the store front. She brushed a piece of hair from her face and waited for a reaction.

Jace smirked a little when she blushed.

Azlinn scowled. "Moron. Don't smirk like that..." She slapped his chest playfully and looked away.

Ash grinned. "I think I won still. I get to kiss you."

Jace laughed and put an arm around her. "Oh come on, don't be like that."

Miri raised an eyebrow. "Oh really now?"

Azlinn shrugged his arm off, blushing even more. "Rawr!" She scooted away a bit.

Ash grinned wider. "Definitely." He leaned in closer to Miri.

"There's definitely some biased judging here. i don't think you worked nearly hard enough to deserve a kiss." Miri teased.

Jace laughed even harder, watching her blush.

Her scowl deepened, and she made a point of walking farther away from Jace.

Ash smiled. "Too late now." He slipped his hands behind her neck and kissed her.

Miri smirked against his lips and kissed him back gently.

Jace followed finally able to control his laughter. "Oh come on, it's funny."

"I'm going to bite you, Jace, I really am. You know how much I like to bite."

Ash, taking this as a sign of encouragement, deepened the kiss, closing his eyes.

Jace stuck his tongue out. "Do it. I dare ya." He teased, grinning.

Miri hesitated for a second before deepening her kiss to match his.

Azlinn moved quicker than human eyes could follow, and somehow she had gotten Jace to his knees. She had her arms wrapped around his shoulders, and her head bent down to his neck, threatening to bite him. "I was serious," she whispered, her breath tickling the hairs at the back of his neck.

Ash slid his arms around Miri's waist, pulling her closer.

Jace grew still. He hesitated, biting his lip and finally mumbled. "Damn..." In a shocked and exasperated tone.

Miri let him pull her closer and deepened the kiss just a tad.
