Jace smirked, taking the time to see just how far he could push her before she actually got mad. "Do it. I dare ya." He repeated.

Azlinn didn't respond. She tightened her arms around hm, pulling him closer, and then... she kissed his neck. "You can't bait me, darling," she whispered, letting his go.

Ash shook his head and grinned, sitting back on his heels. "But how do you know that I didn't plan this, also?" He raised an eyebrow, challenging her logic.

Azlinn came around from behind Jace and smiled. "Can we go home now?"

Azlinn followed, walking closer to Jace now. "You know, I'm still a little mad at you, darling." She smiled.

Jace rolled his eyes. "For some reason I think you'll get over it soon enough."

Ash grinned and pinned Miri to the ground again. "You don't think my ego is the best part, then?"

Ash smiled. "Oh, but it is. You'll learn." He smirked, leaned down, and kissed Miri.

"Grilled cheese it is." He nodded with a laugh. they both no he was no gourmet chef.

Miri returned the kiss with no hesitation, closing her eyes.

Azlinn looked around, finally noting the absence of Ash and Miri. "Where did our feisty friends go?"

Ash pulled away before they got carried away and grinned. "We should catch up to Azlinn and Jace before they get... ideas."

Miri sighed and pouted. "Damn. Do we have to?"

"You know what? I don't think we want to know what they're doing." She laughed. She stopped in front of a small one level house. "This is it. Let's get on with those sandwiches." She pulled out her keys and unlocked the door, letting Jace inside.

"Sadly. I think we're eating at Az's tonight."

Miri sighed and stood up, fixing her hair. "Damn." She repeated. "I hope she's cooking and not Az."

Jace walked in and kicked off his tennis shoes at the door. He was always here, so it was a natural thing.

Azlinn kicked off her shoes and flopped down on her couch, waving Jace toward the kitchen. "Shoo, shoo, slave. Make me a feast!" She smiled smugly.

Azlinn kicked back on the couch and relaxed. She could feel her eyes drooping and she yawned. It had been a late night at the bar and she just wanted to sleep. Screw dinner, she thought just before she fell asleep.

Ash laughed and stood, helping up Miri. "Az is smart enough not to cook for anybody."

Jace grabbed a few slices of bread and cheese and a pan and began cooking.

Ash grabbed Miri's hand and laced his fingers through hers, smiling. "We shall." He started walking in the direction on Azlinn's house.
