Miri smirked slyly and walked with him, hand in hand. When they got there they let themselves in and she let go of his hand heading for the couch but stopping short when she saw an asleep Azlinn. she turned to Ash and raised an eyebrow.

Ash wasn't paying attention. His nose brought him to the kitchen, where Jace (Thank god!) was cooking grilled cheese sandwiches. "Hey, Jace. Did you notice that Az fell asleep? Looks like that's my sandwich." He picked up one of the sandwiches and took a bite.

Jace rolled his eyes, there was another in the pan and two more on the plate. "Whatever man. Hey, what took you two so long?"

"Ohhh, nothing," Ash said mysteriously, smirking. He walked back into the living room, looking at Azlinn. "Don't wake her up or she'll blame me."

Miri smirked and reached around, tapping her shoulder before quickly looking at the tv nonchalantly.

Jace finished the sandwiches and walked out with the piled on a plate, dropping them on the coffee table.

"Mm... Ash, leave me alone before... I knock you unconscious," muttered Azlinn. She turned and fell back asleep.

Ash sighed. "See?" He shook his head. "Jace, can you please carry her to her room or something?"

Jace nodded and picked her up with ease and carried her to her bed room, trying to be as gentle as possible.

Miri rolled her eyes and shook her head. "She so totally has reason to beleive it was you."

Ash stared after him. "Huh. I thought he would make me do it. Wonder what's making him so agreeable today." He looked over at Miri. "And hey! Why would I do that?"

Azlinn stirred. "Who's moving me," she groaned.

Jace smirked. "The boogey man" He teased and set her down in her bed.

Miri raised an eyebrow in challenge. "Like you've never done anything malicious to her before."

Ash opened his mouth to argue, then closed it and blushed.

Azlinn opened her eyes and smiled, slightly delerious from being half asleep. "You're too handsome to be the boogey man."

Jace laughed and shook his head, pulling the covers up and over her. "Get some sleep, beautiful." He mumbled softly.

Miri laughed. "Awwww. Cute, I made you blush. " she teased.

"Whaaat?" Azlinn was now completely awake.

Ash scowled and stuffed another sandwich in his mouth.

Miri rolled her eyes watching him. "Quit making a pig out of yourself."

Jace shook his head. "Nothing, you want a sandwich?"

"If... if you don't mind, would you maybe... stay with me until I fall asleep?" She looked up at Jace for a minute, then flicked her eyes down, blushing even more.

Azlinn smiled and scooted over a bit on the bed so Jace could sit down.

Ash glanced back at the hall, sitting down on the couch. "What's taking Jace so long?"

Miri shrugged, "Who knows." She mumbled with a shrug. She scooted closer to him on the couch.

Jace sat on the edge of the bed quietly.

Ash glanced over at Miri and smiled. He scooted close to her and wrapped an arm around her. "Better?"

Azlinn reached for Jace's hand, lacing her fingers through his silently.
