Ivy smiled. "Hold on," She said getting up and walking into Violets room. Violet was laying in her bed watching TV. Ivy picked her up and carried her out to the sofa and sat her in her lap. "Sweety, we can make this work. You will find out what you are soon sweety," She said hugging her tight

Jared took her hand reluctantly and stared at it even though he knew he wouldn't see anything.

Ivy smiled and leaned her head on Jareds shoulder. "Keep watching Violet," She said closing her eyes.

Violet giggled and clapped her hand. "I see it mommy! I see it!" She said. "Mommy Im a fairy too! Im a fairy too!"

Violet looked at Jared. "Im sorry! Its what I saw!" She said running out of the house and to the shore.

Ivy stood up and went to follow her. She stopped and looked out the window and watched Violet dip her feet in the water and splash around. She felt tears in her eyes.

Ivy kept watching violet. "She was just saying what she saw. You didnt have to get mad. She is very sensitive. I dont understand this. I barely know you and I dont know anything about you. But kids can figure out destiny. when I was younger I saw my dad cheating on my mom, and he had anouther kid. A few years later it came true," She explained. "Maybe we are ment to be,"

Jared shook his head. "Give me some time to think." He stared at his hands and sighed again. How the hell did he get messed up like this?

Ivy sniffled as tears poured out of her eyes. "Have all the time in the world," She said walking out after Violet. She smiled and watched her as the night wind blew her hair. "Violet how about we go for a swim?" She asked

Violet nodded. "Come on mommy!" She said pulling her into the water. They didnt care about their clothes.

They swam farther out, Ivy holding Violet. They where out where Ivy couldnt touch the bottom. Ivy felt herself starting to be pulled by the current. She let Violet go. "Go get Daddy," she whispered.

Violet swam back to the shore. She looked out at the water not seeing Ivy. She ran inside screaming. "Daddy! Mommy is gone!!" She said crying

Jared stood up instantly. "Where? Where did she disappear?" He ran outside and spotted her in the river. He pulled off his shirt and dived in. Unfortunately, Jared wasn't the best swimmer so it took him some time to get to Ivy. "Hold still," he ordered and started to pulled her back to shore.

ic: Jared loosened his grip on Ivy when he could stand again. He dragged her back to shore and laid her down on the beach. "You okay?"

Jared put his arm on Violets shoulder. "No problem, kido." He lifted Ivy up and put her arm around his shoulder so he could walk her back to the house. "Come on." He took Violets hand and led them back. He laid Ivy down on her own bed. "There you go."
