ok I'll start

Scarlet shuffled into mob of children. Since she was eighteen she was in the front of the mob this year. Her name had been entered sixty-two times this year to support her family of six. She brushed her hair back from her eyes and glanced toward the back of the crowd at her younger brother. He had been picked lat year, but her older sister, Blossom, had decided to go in his place. She was dead now. The third person to fall. Scarlet tuned out the speech and history of the Hunger Games. It was always the same story every year.

Scorch watched the mayor step away from the microphone. Finally, that stupid oration was completely over. They should just get it over with. In the container were only ten slips of paper with his name on it. His father had had a good year this year and he didn't need the supplies that bad. His hand reached in, groping for an unlucky name.

//Omg by the way. Each district does it's own kind of thing. District 12 is coal mining. District 8 is all factories. District 11 is agriculture. District 7 is lumber and wood. 11 and 7 are your characters, so i just needed to tell you xD

Rowan stood near the front of the line, waiting for Effie to pull the slip of paper that would change everything for one family. She had no family to care for her. No siblings to look out for. No one to volunteer for her. As Effie dug her hand into the girls' reaping ball, Rowan held her breath. Along with everyone else in District 12.

Aaron stood, stony-faced and silent, as the escort for his district stuck his hand into the girls' reaping ball. He pulled out the slip and everyone in the crowd tensed. "Mara Stells," the man called out cheerily. The girl behind Aaron walked up to the stage, holding her hands in fists at her sides. Poor Mara. She was a nice girl, Aaron thought. As the crowd clapped, rather grimly, Mara stared at her shoes, looking close to tears. Then it was time for the boy tribute of District 8.
