TIME SKIP ONE DAY

Peyton had gone through a brutal night, and one day. She was tired, beaten, and bloodied. "I wont ever tell you..." She whimpered quietly, another sound of the whip and she hung limp. If they kept this up she wouldn't live much longer. It was hard for her to survive this as it was, she was already so weak from the fire and the battle before. "What a worthless piece of trash." The man holding the whip said.

Alexx finally reached the lake and looked down into its depths, he could tell there was an underwater cave where an air pocket could be. He didnt even have to explain, the beast dove into the water without even a splash and easily swam to the shore of a rock. He could see a door, an entrance to where Andre and Peyton were perhaps? He slid from the beasts back and limped to the door, it took a while but he finally managed to open it. He could see Peyton in one corner a man with a whip standing over her and in the other corner stood Andre. "Fletrir! Get Peyton and run!" HE commanded springing at Andre as the Beast easily knocked the man aside and gently scooped Peyton into his Jaws.

Peyton was out cold, and she didn't move or make a noise when she was in the beasts mouth. "GET THEM YOU FOOLS!!" Andre screamed, but it was too late. Peyton had already been taken away, and Andre wasn't the kind to chase, he'd find her again. He watched her go after striking Alexx down, they were gone in an instant the cave and it's belongings the only things left. Andre never stayed unless he was prepared.

Alexx limped out of the ruins a bit dazed. He let himself float up to the surface easily, he could see Peyton lying in the grass with Fletrir beside her. he did his best to swim to the shore and drag himself out of the water. "Peyton? Are you alright?" he asked wiping her soaking hair from her face. He rolled her over gently and cleaned the cuts with the water from the lake and bandaged her with bits of cloth from his bag. He also pulled out the golden box, "Peyton, i have your memories, not all of them but there are plenty in here at least 10." he said showing it to her. "But i cant give them to you right now, your to weak and they might cause you to have a mental breakdown." he smiled down at her, she was beautiful. Like a tropical bird she appeared with her bright feathery hair.

Peyton's brow furrowed but that was really the only response he was going to get for a while. She laid there for a good thirty minutes and then her eyes fluttered open. "I don't know!" She screamed sitting up fast. The quick movement caused her head to spin and she clapped her hand to her forehead. "M-my hands.." She said, now realizing they were not chained.

Alexx startled a bit, afraid her sudden movements would reopen her woulds, "Peyton your safe for now, you need to lie down." He soothed trying to calm her a bit. "We need to move as soon as possible though. Andre knows were right here but hes waiting until hes stronger." Alexx stuffed his things back into the bag.

Peyton nodded. "Are you hurt?" She should have been worried about herself but she wasn't. She couldn't think of herself when she had gotten so many people in trouble. What had happened to Jasey? Was she hurt? Or...dead? Peyton didn't want to think about it. Swallowing hard she looked around, a breeze blew her damp hair into her eyes and she slowly brushed it aside.

"Im fine," Alexx said glancing around, He felt the breeze dance between his damp blonde hair. "We need to move now." He whispered to her, wincing as he stood. He helped her to her feet and walked over to the east, "Do you think you could carry two of us?" he asked helping Peyton onto his back when he nodded. He leapt up behind her, "Do you have an idea of where to go?" he asked reaching his arms around her to keep her steady and hold on.

Peyton shook her head. "I really, I really don't know.." She frowned. If she had knew then she would have said something, it would have been helpful to know. But, alas, she did not. Peyton shut her eyes, she was weak and very beaten up. "I-I'm tired." Peyton managed and she leaned back against Alexx. "Maybe w-we should head to a place for rest.."

Alexx smiled as he felt the gentle pressure of her head against his chest. He looked around a bit before deciding on a direction at random. They had traveled for some miles and the sun had begun to rise. He felt a low tree limb brush his hair as he ducked below it just in time. He could see a abandoned Hut a little ways away. They were scattered all over the place.
