Peyton gasped for a moment and then flushed, realizing she was still completely naked. Quickly she snatched up a towel from one of the lawn chairs and covered herself. "I-it's okay," She said and held the towel to her skin.

Chase smiled, "We're not far from the house, actually." He pointed over her shoulder to the house the peaked over the tips of some trees.

Jared chuckled at her shyness and walked over to her. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into a bear hug against his bare chest. He kissed her forehead and smiled softly down at her. "Hmm, I'm just glad I didn't have to preform mouth to mouth, not that I wouldn't have enjoyed it." He wiggled his eyebrows at her.

Kaylee stared over at where he was pointing and shrugged, looking back to Chase. "I see nothing. You must have better eyesight." She placed one hand on the back of his neck and curled his hair around her finger.

Peyton flushed and wriggled free of him. "Okay, I'm cold now," She said and eyed him. "You being naked isn't really the best way to keep me warm." She said and playfully stuck her tongue out at him. Quickly the wrapped her towel around her so it fell at her mid thigh.

Chase blinked and stared slightly, then smiled. "Oh yeah, I'm sure I do," He said with a laugh. He then scooped her up and spun her gently in a circle. "Though I took you by force, I'm glad that you're here with me, smiling," He said and stooped his head to kiss her cheek gently.

Jared shrugged his shoulders and dove back into the pool. He surface near the wall and rested against it, not that he needed to. He could probably tread water indefinitely in the pool.

"Yeah, I must come with the perks of being undead," she joked. Kaylee wrapped both her arms around his neck now and held on tight while he spun her. She didn't look up at him when he spoke again. "Hmmm," she mumbled in response, feeling a bit homesick.

Peyton frowned lightly, wondering if she had offended him. Sighing she twisted on her heels and went back into the house with out another word. She wasn't sure this was ever going to work. Was she doing the right thing by letting her feels grow for Jared?

Chase pulled her close and kissed her forehead, "I can send someone to check on your family if you'd like," He said and brushed a strand of hair from her face. "I'd let you see them if it wouldn't put you in so much danger."

Jared frowned and pulled himself out of the pool. He wrapped a towel around his waist and followed Peyton into the house. "Hey, hey," he called as he caught up to her. He wrapped his arms around her waist to prevent her from walking any further. They were in the center of the living room at that second. "You okay?" he asked, confused to why she had just walked away from him.

Kaylee bit her lip. "No, no I don't want anyone spying on them. I already know what they're probably doing." She shook her head. "I don't want to hear about how they're feeling awful because of me."

Peyton shivered at his touch and couldn't help but smile. But, quickly her smile faded and her eye brows knitted together. "I'm just tired," She said and twisted in his arms so that she was facing him. With out looking up at him she laid her head on his bare cool chest.

Chase frowned, "I'd let you go home...if I could." He said and sighed. "I'm sorry.." He then let go of her, pulling him self back. He was pathetic. Wanting her to love him when he had ruined her whole life as she knew it. He was such an idiot.
